I am a Reference/Instruction Librarian at the College of Staten Island (CSI), CUNY. Since coming to CSI in 2007 I have contributed to the library instruction program and provided reference services, been the coordinator of virtual reference services, and I have a done a number of other things too.

My research is focused on the ways in which library and information literacy work is situated within specific social, cultural, economic, and disciplinary contexts. I am particularly interested in the politics of libraries and library work.
